Lauren Woodard, an Assistant Professor for the anthropology department, was elected to be the Secretary Elect for the Society for the Anthropology of Europe (SAE). The SAE is a section of the American Anthropological Association (AAA). Secretary Elect was one of several open positions on the SAE Executive Board, voting for which opened on May 9 of this year. Woodard and other winning candidates will join the Board at this year's AAA Annual Meeting, being held in Tampa on November 20-23.
